We’ve been helping businesses across Exeter & Devon for over 20 years

It all started with printing.com in the 90’s – 1992 to be precise – back when Erasure were topping the charts. printing.com initially printed flyers for nightclubs, but with cutting edge online ordering technology, printing.com soon grew to become the UK’s largest high street print franchise.In 2005 the doors of the printing.com Exeter franchise were opened by Ashley Scott.

Over the years the business was renowned for its exceptional customer service and trusted by many local organisations for high-quality printing and design.

2014 saw our metamorphosis. The caterpillar became a butterfly. Nettl was born. Our skills in graphic design and printing now splashed onto the web. Nettl offered a full creative service for local businesses; printing, logo design, graphic design and a new website all under one roof.

Growth quickly ensued, leading to the acquisition of AG Signs & Print from Honiton in 2018, merging the creative teams and adding more skills to Nettl’s multi-service offering. In 2019 both businesses relocated to our gorgeous new Business Store in Marsh Barton complete with our high tech in-house production facility, vehicle wrapping bay and meeting rooms for hire.

We’re quite different from when we opened in 2005 but our goal to empower local businesses to connect with their audience and win more customers has remained throughout. Clients love that everything can be sorted with just one point of contact. There’s no need to juggle multiple suppliers anymore. For every goal you have and every product or service you need, we follow a similar journey. When you make an enquiry, we will work to find out more about your objective for the project. Depending on the nature of your business and the project itself, this might be an email, phone call, a consultation or a site survey.

Once we know more about your marketing goal, we will create a quote or project proposal for you. Our team is always at the other end of the phone or in our business store in Marsh Barton for any questions you have before proceeding.

Approve your quote and our team of designers will get to work creating a proof or plan for you to approve. Once approved, our team gets producing – this might be our SEO or PPC team implementing ways to grow your website’s ranking, our signage team creating a new shop fascia for your store or some one of our other creatives turning your plans into a reality.
