The Client

Howdens is the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier, with branches in towns across the country. Specialising in high-quality, made-to-measure kitchens available to trade professionals but showcased in public showrooms, Howdens transforms some of the most commonly used areas of people’s homes. Their professional kitchen designers and advanced CAD technology ensure every project is both functional and beautifully crafted.

The Sowton branch of Howdens has been working with us to support their seasonal marketing campaigns, particularly through printed materials that help engage both trade professionals and the general public.

The Brief

The Sowton branch approached us to produce their seasonal offers in the form of posters and flyers. We supported the Sowton branch in creating their own unique campaign.

Our task was twofold:

  1. Ensure the printed marketing materials were designed and delivered on tight deadlines to meet campaign launches.
  2. Develop a fresh, locally impactful creative style that adheres to Howdens’ corporate brand guidelines, allowing the Sowton branch to stand out and attract attention for trade days and public sales.

Printed marketing remains a crucial tool in the retail and trade sectors. Posters, flyers, banners, and other tangible materials provide immediate visibility, reinforce brand messaging, and drive footfall in ways digital campaigns alone cannot. They also create a professional, trustworthy impression that helps customers engage with the brand both in-store and locally.

The Result

The creative campaign was successfully applied across a wide range of print materials, including leaflets, stickers, stationery, banner stands, outdoor banners, flags, and waterproof posters. By combining Howdens’ corporate branding with our fresh creative approach, the Sowton branch achieves standout campaigns that attract both trade members and the general public.

The timely production and high-quality finish of the printed materials ensured the campaigns ran smoothly, maximising local awareness and engagement. These campaigns highlight how print remains a vital component of a well-rounded marketing strategy, complementing digital efforts while providing tangible, eye-catching materials that capture attention and drive action.
