How long does an affordable website take to go live?
We pride ourselves on getting you and your business launched quickly. Every project is different, but most sites take between 1-2 weeks from project start to launch. We’ll keep you updated at every stage, so you always know what’s happening and when.
What is responsive design?
Responsive design means your website automatically adapts to different screen sizes — from desktops to tablets to mobiles — so it always looks its best. No pinching, zooming, or frustration required.
Can I update the website myself after it’s live?
Yes! We build our websites on user-friendly platforms, so you can easily update text, swap images or add new content without needing to know code. Of course, we’re always here if you’d rather we do it for you.
Can I adjust the design to make it more customised?
No. Our affordable website packages are made to be super efficient to pass the savings onto you. Our pre-designed layouts have already been created to suit most content types and we customise these with your brand colours, fonts, content and images. Tweaking the design to make it more ‘you’ is something we can offer on our normal, bespoke web design service.
I don't want a care plan for my affordable website, can I remove it?
Our monthly fee is inclusive of super fast hosting and our care plan to ensure your site is kept up-to-date every month and reduce the risk of hacking through old software vulnerabilities. To keep our one-off prices low and affordable it’s not possible to reduce the monthly fee by cancelling the care plan.
Once you've built my affordable website can I host it elsewhere?
It’s not possible to host your website elsewhere after we’ve built it. As part of the agreement, it must be hosted on Nettl’s cloud platform. And, as your website uses our pre-made layouts, the overall layout is not unique to you. We licence it to you for your continued use, but you do not ‘own the website’. If you wish to have this level of flexibility to host the website yourself we recommend getting a quote for our standard web design service.
Is there a contract?
All our affordable website design plans have a 12 month minimum term. If you wish to cancel once you’ve reached your 12 month minimum term, we just require 30 days written notice and your service will be terminated.
Who owns the website?
Nettl retain full ownership of the overall design and layout of the website, and we licence it to you for your continued use in marketing your business for as long as you keep your plan active with us. You retain full ownership of any content you have supplied to go onto the website e.g. logo, copy, images etc.
